Sponsor a Girl and Become a  Nurturing Hearts Partner!

Although you can make a donation to Nurturing Hearts in any amount, the amount for one girl to participate in our six month positive self-esteem, healthy life style, and career options program is $175, which consist of lectures, interactive workshops, and group discussions, on how to conquer your dreams, how to develop positive self-esteem, goal and career setting, motivational speaking, recreational activities, educational field trips and mentoring.

The tuition fee will also cover the cost of journals, workbooks, t-shirts, snacks and a certificate of appreciation.  We need at least 10 girls to start a program and currently have 50 girls on our waiting list!  Your sponsorship will allow a girl to begin her positive journey towards a bright and positive future that will be carried on from generation to generation.

Leadership

Leadership Programs utilize  ‘sister teams’ with a focus on projects that teach leadership skills.  Through this effort, girls will build positive relationships, explore personal strengths and gain self-confidence.

Through the use of role models, and teaching women’s history, Nuturing Hearts works to educate young  girls on the strength of the human spirit.

Self-Esteem

We utilize round table discussions and support classes to review and give guidance concerning numerous peer pressure issues, such as premarital sex, drug/alchohol abuse, teen pregnancy, dropping out of school, smoking, and education on recognizing physical and emotional abuse.
